Basics – Full Course

The IAS Academy Basics Course is a 3-day, immersive program designed to equip aspiring aesthetic professionals with the foundational skills needed for a successful career in medical aesthetics. This comprehensive course provides in-depth, hands-on training across essential techniques in injectable treatments and client care, guided by leading experts in the field. Our curriculum goes beyond the basics, offering the technical, anatomical, sales, marketing, and client-focused insights needed to confidently and safely begin working with aesthetic injectables.

Topics Covered

  1. Facial Anatomy
    Understanding facial anatomy is critical for safe and effective injectable treatments. Students receive thorough training in identifying key anatomical landmarks, focusing on the precise location of injection sites and optimal angles to achieve natural results.
  2. Neurotoxins: Uses and Techniques​
    Gain expertise in the proper application of neurotoxins, a cornerstone of aesthetic treatments for reducing wrinkles and minimizing pores. This module includes best practices and technique refinement for achieving effective, safe results.​
  3. Dermal Filler: Uses and Techniques (lips, cheeks, chin)​
    Dive into the art and science of dermal fillers, learning how to restore youthful contours and smoothness to the face. This segment covers injection techniques for enhancing the lips, cheeks, and chin, with a focus on natural, beautiful outcomes.​​
  4. SKINVIVE for Skin Rejuvenation
    Expand your skill set with SKINVIVE techniques for facial rejuvenation. This part of the program explores how this regenerative treatment can complement injectable techniques to provide clients with holistic aesthetic solutions.​​
  5. Safety and Occlusions ​
    Safety is paramount in aesthetic treatments. Students are taught essential protocols to prevent and manage potential complications, including how to address occlusions and respond effectively to adverse events, ensuring clients’ well-being.
  6. Product Knowledge: “What should I use?”​
    With numerous products on the market, choosing the right one can be challenging. This module covers the pros and cons of various options, helping students understand product selection for optimal results and client satisfaction.​
  7. The Full Face Consultation​
    A comprehensive consultation is key to understanding and meeting client goals. Learn how to evaluate the entire face, discuss client aesthetic desires, and plan treatments that align with their unique anatomy and preferences.​

Seats are limited, so make sure you register as soon as possible.

Observation seats are available as an alternative method of learning.  Observers will have access to all of the didactic training, but will not be able to participate in any hands-on training.  A license is not required to attend these courses as an observer.
